So it hasn't been, you know, THE most fabulous day, but at least I got to talk with smart people about things I enjoy. How very, very rare. Also, other people are having mind-blowingly worse days.

 I should stop writing those tiny little posts, shouldn't I? The bite-sized blocks of text? Problem is, most of what I have to say is quick enough to mention over Facebook but not important enough to post in the blog, or perhaps too important to post anywhere on the Internet ... look, information about technetium!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 Happy Father's Day to one and all; though, I must admit, Father's Day is one of my least favorite days of the year.

 The great outdoors are hot and sticky with something of which I don't know the name. I think it might be sap, but more likely some kind of mutated hybrid alien sap. Something along those lines. Makes laundry difficult. Also makes carrying library books difficult. The sticky thing will not come off, you see. I wonder if I will be mutated soon?

 It was a very creative day. Most days are, even if it doesn't come out to look creative. You know, pencil, paper, paint, buttons and glue and all that. I never did like glue. No point, not when you can use tape. At least, that was how I always saw it.
